Kind of course: It would be some kind of informal lectures about our history and culture. We will visit different places (churches, museums, palaces, mausoleums),to get a better picture about that aspect of our culture. Most of excursions we will have in the afternoon. While in Niksic we will visit monastery, cultural centers, creative centers. In Cetinje center of Montenegrin history and culture we will also visit all the places of importance. Those kind of activities we will continue while spending our time at the Adriatic coast. We will visit Kotor, Budva, St Stefan, Perast, Gospa od Skrpjela, ... towns and places where last civilization had lived.
Teaching program: We plan to do this event in three different towns. We will be from 25.-28.07.in Niksic 28.-31.07 in Cetinje 31.07-07.08. at Montenegrin sea,situated in Budva,from where we will visit all the beutiful places at the coast. Lectures would be connected with our culture, our multicultural and multiethnic society were (montenegrins, albanians, muslims, serbs, croatians) live, wars in region, it's influence on relation between national minority and majority in Montenegro. The way that we keep peace in country despite the wars in Ex-Yu.The way that our multiethnic society functioning with all its vices and virtues, our cultural and historical monuments, about people of great importance for our culture and history. Lecture will be followed by films and documentary program. After lectures we will organize Workshops and discuss about its topics. Our course program have its practical part where student after talking about certain topics will have a chance to visit places important for the lectures. So, it will be a combination of theory and practical doing. That is the way to understand some lectures better. Lectures in: Niksic ------ 26/7 - Introduction: Something about Montenegro; 27/7 - Culture of the people from region; Cetinje ------- 28/7 - Multiethnical society in Montenegro; 29/7 - Wars and their influence on multiethnical society in Montenegro; 30/7 - Multiethnic relation after wars in region; Budva ----- 31/7 - Media: importance - objectivity?! 01/8 - Workshops: Dialog - the best solution, the only solution; 02/8 - Prejudices, how to solve them; 03,04/8 - Visit to places of importance at the Adriatic coast and lectures by 05,06 guides, experts 07/8 - Summarize of expressions
Leisure programme This is, I dare say, the laziest and spontaneous part of SE. But, it is also in the way planed. In Niksic we will spend our leisure time on one lake near the town, organizing parties, barbeques, national drinks parties. In Cetinje we will visit this small town, ex embassies, mausoleum, on the hill Lovcen, Skadar lake near Cetinje, Rijeka Crnojevica. In the evening again parties, presentation of our national food, drinks, national dance, songs. In Budva, at the seaside generally, we will have a chance to spend leisure time the best. Student will enjoy our beaches, sunny days, great music, nice and clean water, hospitable people. Evenings on the beaches, discotheques, bars, squares, theatre house, concerts, ... WELCOME
