If you think that histroy is dull then think again ! We are about to change your whole perspective regarding ancient civilisations and ancient cultures. A journey in time and space - this is what AEGEE Timisoara has in store for you this summer! From witchcraft to idol worshiping, we are about to open your mind on the ancient wisdom of the eastern-european people. The aim of our travel summer university is to try to make you imagine the every day life and the believes of the people who lived in the eastern part of Europe in ancient times. You will be able to do this after you had got acquaintance with Romanian ancient history during the lectures and the visits to the most important ruins and museums in the south-western part of Romania. Our starting point will be of course Timisoara, also known as the city of roses and parks, and we may add, of the nicest people and most gorgeous pubs. After the time spent in Timisoara, during which lectures on Romanian History, Myths and Legends of Romanian people and Romanian language will be provided, we will begin our journey to the Retezat mountains following the ruins of the temple from Costesti, Geoagiu Bai and many other interesting places.
