Kind of course: A 2-day stay in a cottage outside of Copenhagen.

Teaching program: Introduction to the Danish society - both past and present. Excursions to the sights of modern Copenhagen. An experience of Danish design and architecture. Presentation of the modern Danish cinema, also beyond the famous Dogma-films. An overview of the Danish language. An opportunity to experience the traditional sights of Copenhagen: a tour of the canals and a visit to Tivoli, the old amusement park at the heart of the city.
Leisure Program

Come and experience Denmark and Copenhagen! During the SU you'll also be introduced to the history and habits of the Danes. You'll get impressions of Danish films, architecture, design, humor, music, drinks and Danish food, some of which you'll cook yourself. We'll discover the secrets of Copenhagen, both during the day and the night. During the SU, there will be a number of traditional Copenhagen events taking place, outdoor film showing, outdoor concerts and Mermaid Pride, which we hope to experience. Our program will also include presentations of the Danish cinema, society and the Danes' love/hate relationship with the EU. If you don't feel like you know Copenhagen and the Danes (and who truly does?), then join us for an experience that you'll never forget.
