Kind of course: We will make a big excursion to Amsterdam for two days. We have the experience that our participants love this part especially. We have a member of AEGEE-Maastricht living in Amsterdam and he will help us with the tour etc. Additionally, we will make daily trips to Aachen and Valkenburg. We will work together with AEGEE-Aachen on that occasion. Valkenburg is a lovely old village where we will enjoy the day and go laser gaming at the end.
Teaching program: We will offer an English course for a medium level of English knowledge, we will split the group of participants in two according to their level and have separate grammar and communication classes. The teacher will provide learning material. Since in Maastricht a lot of students speak English also within our local English is the main language of communication. We want to enhance the quality of the communication between locals through this course.
We provide a broad program for leisure activities. First, there will be a citytour. Second, a tour through the caves and maybe an adventure tour at the Fort of Maastricht. We go lasergaming and join activities of our Introduction days of the University in the second week of our programme. Also a pubcrawl and parties are planned in the evenings.
